Usage and application of helical spring

Helical spring is a mechanical part that uses elasticity to work. Parts made of spring steel deform under external forces and return to their original shape when the forces are removed.

Springs are classified according to the form of load bearing into

compression springs, extension springs and torsion springs.

Compression spring

The most common helical spring that bears axial pressure and can work independently.

Application: Most commonly used in construction equipment, vehicle suspension systems, switches, or combiners.

Extension spring

The main feature of the stretch spring is that it can stretch and compress in a certain proportion.

Application: Widely used in medical respiratory equipment, motion control, hand tools, home care equipment, shock absorbers.

Torsion spring

The ends of a torsion spring are fixed to other components,can generates torque or rotational force.

Application: We can see them in high-speed rotating machines, micro switches and sensors in electronic equipment.
